AP ACH Export Addenda Records

  1. If an addenda record exists, position 79 of the Entry Detail Record (Record Type 6) is supposed to be 1; otherwise, it should be 0:

  2. Position 1 of the Addenda record should always be 7.

  3. Positions 2-3 of the Addenda record should always be 05:

  4. Previously, the information setup in the NWERP software was used in its entirety, all 94 characters. Now, it is being used for only 80 characters of the Addenda record in positions 04-83.
  5. The sequence number in positions 84-87 of the Addenda record will always be 1, because there will always only be 1 addenda record per Entry Detail Record.

  6. Positions 88-94 of the Addenda record are the last 7 digits of the trace number from the related Entry Detail Record:

  7. The Company/Batch Control Record (Record Type 8) was modified so that positions 5-10 contain a total count of Entry Detail Records AND Addenda Records:

  8. The File Control Record (Record Type 9) was modified so that the file block count in positions 8-13 factor in Addenda Records.
